GradDreamz87 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Hey there, I've been around this forum since last fall and recently joined. I have a question regarding accepting offers. I received an acceptance into the University of Florida for an MS program. The deadline to accept is May 15th. If I sign a form stating that I will accept their offer does that mean that I am required to pay for the "Professional Development Fee" after the form is submitted or do I have a choice to back out before the acceptance deadline without being required to pay the fee? The form says the fee in nonrefundable, so I wasn't sure if they meant after the form is submitted or after I pay the fee. The reason I ask is because I fear them rescinding their offer if I don't send the form in soon since it may seem that I am not interested. Can they do that? Can they actually take back an acceptance offer they sent me with my name and address on it if they felt like it?
