April 15th Notification?

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, and also freaking out. I currently applied to W&M school of marine science (VIMS), among a few others, however this is my top choice. Upon receiving my application, the admissions department sent mass emails to applicants saying they will try their best to notify AFTER April 15th. Has anyone else experienced this kind of thing, and still received an acceptance/rejection letter before April 15th? I know many people are already finding out from other schools and I'm going crazy over here.
