The scores are as below aug 2010 (old) (revised) verbal 590 159 quant 780 163 june 2011 (old) (revised) verbal 570 158 quant 740 158 Unfortunately could attend univ the same year because of a family emergency. Is it a good idea to reappear for the gre ? To put forward I am planning for univ(Embedded systems) in the likes of UC,Irvine,penn state,Univ of Minnesota,Univ of Maryland .Are the above score stand good for an admit from the above list of universities. Profile: 10th 74% 12th 65% btech 7.45 cgpa(En&Tc) work exp :3 yrs 4 months TCS (2.4 years) Nimbuzz (1 year) Looking forward to your response . DBP Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Hi Neeraj, The second time you took the GREs, you did worse than the first time. This is not a good thing. Admissions committees want to see an improvement in your performance. I recommend you re-take the test. Also, the profile you've listed is hard to interpret. If you could give more information, others may be able to help you evaluate your potential. Good luck!

As you mentioned here are few more addition to my profile. 1.Couple of projects in embedded systems.. during my btech. 2.Awards for having won a state level robotic competition. 3.Currently Working on mobile app development based on J2ME(Java) and Android for Nimbuzz(product based messenger company) As I have few months to apply what else should I be adding to my profile to make it strong ...what are the options .. ..
