Hi guys,

I've been accepted into Western Kentucky University's Folk Studies program to study Folk Art. My goal is to get a Ph. D in Art History at some point. I don't have much in the way of an Art History background, went to school for TV production and never had time to take an Art History class. I'm loading up on AH-related classes at WKU to go along with my Folk classes but I'm wondering if I should either try to go for the Ph.D straight away or get a secondary Master's degree that is exclusively related to Art History just to be able to pair it with the Folk Studies degree. I'm looking to specialize in the Arts and Crafts movement.
