mranderson Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Has anyone heard of the International University in Geneva (IUG)? I'm considering pursuing its Master in International Relations program, but am questioning how reputable/respected the institution is. I would love to study in Geneva because of the city's relevance to IR careers, but I don't think I stand a chance at admission to The Graduate Institute with my 3.2 GPA, so I am therefore considering IUG. Thanks in advance!
lecorbeau Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) I'm a self-described college/grad school addict, having done extensive research on schools around the world. I have never heard of IUG. Not that I'm anyone important, but it's just 2 cents coming from someone who is going to IHEID and consequently had done a lot of research about schools in Europe and Geneva specifically. Yes, the Graduate Institute is competitive, but it's worth a shot if you have stellar work experience/language skills/etc. Go for it---you never know. Edited June 12, 2012 by lecorbeau
lecorbeau Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Plus tuition is 36,400+ CHF. Seems pretty steep for that kind of school IMO.
