MPP, MAIS or J.D.

Hello all,

I'm preparing to apply for grad school, but am very torn on what programs to apply to. I want to find a career defending international human rights, maybe with an NGO, maybe with the U.N. or maybe through the state department (oxymoronic though that may sound).

In any case, I'm not sure what degree path to take. MPP with a focus on international policy? MAIS? a J.D. with a concentration on international human rights? Something else?

The extra caveat is that I have a bad CGPA, but really high GRE and LSAT scores and good experience, so I'm looking at middling schools. Not sure if that should influence the degree choice.
