Need Help URGENT

Hi, I got admit in MS biostat, UF, without funding, my GRE is 1450 Q-800, V-650, GPA is 6/10, international student, which is avg, Is it worth joining at UF spending such huge amount of money or doing project related to Biostat and applying for Fall 2013? Will I have any better chances of funding for masters, If I do project related to Biostat or SAS?

Funding for Masters students is hard to get; it is unlikely there is anything you can do between now and fall semester to improve your chances of obtaining funding.
