Anyone know if they are improving? Have they been 20th for a long time now? I can't seem to find rankings from the 90s and early 00s. What about job placement? For example it's ranked fifth in cultural sociology ( http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... of_culture ). Also, they've just recruited two prominent faculty members from other universities.
