cheeseandcrackers Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 I scored a 95 percentile on the new GRE verbal, buy only a 60 percentile on the new GRE quant. I also have an LSAT percentile score of 88. Considering that some top policy schools accept LSAT scores for dual degree applicants (though allowing applicants to supplement with GRE scores if so desired), would I be better off with my LSAT score alone, or also submitting my GRE scores as well? I am concerned that my quantitative percentile (60) is so low that the LSAT may paint me in a more positive light.
fenderpete Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Not all schools accept the LSAT alone so it'll really depend on where you want to apply. I'd say if your GRE score doesn't match what you were getting in practices or you felt you had an off day you should resit it. Otherwise work on other areas of the application you can improve before submission. It's not all abou GRE scores either. My scores were similar to yours (710V, 690Q) and I managed to get some pretty great offers Good luck!
