jayhawk3 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 A lot of universities report the average undergrad gpa that matriculants have to their phd program. Will the matriculant gpa average for a masters program for the same field be less, as the program doesn't have to invest as much in the masters students? Is there anywhere to get values for the average undergraduate GPA for biomedical engineering programs for masters and phd programs?
noojens Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I'd imagine that admissions in general for MS programs are less competitive than for PhD programs, since as you mentioned the school doesn't have to pay its MS students. It's a good question, though. It'd be interesting to have some data to analyze. *hum*
