dpena Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Hello everyone! I'm going to be heading to cal poly slo to start the masters of city and regional planning program and just wanted to know if anyone had any general info on san luis obispo, the campus and if there happens to be any mcrp folk on here if they have info on the program. thanks!
spacezeppelin Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I'm going to go ahead and bump this. Anyone want to talk about SLO? I'm considering it for Public Policy for fall 2013.
Dingbatty Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I'm not from SLO, but about an hour south. SLO IS BEAUTIFUL. It's a fun town...a mix between city and rural. There are a lot of students but permanant residents as well. The campus is nice and the weather is awesome. The beach is a 15 minute drive...can't beat it.
hking9891 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Just got admitted to SLO's MCRP program for Fall 2013. Any advice on housing? I am leaning towards living off-campus.
rebtrue Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 How is SLO's MCRP?? It's a program I'm highly considering applying to. Strengths? Things that could be improved? Why did you choose it above other schools (where else did you apply)? I'm more interested in the land use side of things, so would you recommend the environment & sustainability specialization? Any input would be great, thanks!
