marco_math Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Hello: I took my GRE test this Wednesday and got the following raw score: Verbal: 159 Quantitative: 168. I was wondering how much these numbers could change after the guys at ETS do their "equating"? Also do you guys think this score is good enough for my application? I am applying to Phd programs in Applied Mathematics. Thanks for your time .
slvitale Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 My guess is that a 168 is sufficient. In my proposed program (English PhD) anything above a 165 in Verbal is "highly competitive." I assume it is analogous for your program in terms of a quant score. I do, however, share your question about the "official" scores. Will they change?
