Admissions Interview_ HELPPPPPP! PLEASE

Hey Everyone,

Ive been invited to do a phone interview for an MPA program. Has anyone had a PHONE interview before? Any tips, things to consider? should I speak about future goals and how the program would help me achieve that?

Anything you can think of that might help, would be of greatttt help!

Just thinking quickly, here's a few things you'll want to be prepared to discuss:

1. Why you applied to their school (i.e. what things did you like about them specifically that other schools didn't offer - professors, classes, etc)

2. What your career goals are and how that school can help you achieve them

3. Anything listed on your resume - it may be useful to pick a few things off your resume or have some life experiences handy that really touch on why you chose the MPA path

I haven't had a phone interview but they might ask you where else you're applying and if you're already accepted to some programs.

Maybe they will also clarify/ask about some areas of your SOP...
