Anyone else applying to Upenn?

Hello, just wondering if anyone has started the online application. I am encountering some difficulties. You see, Art History doesn't even pop up as a program of choice in the scroll down window. I am tempted to contact them and let them know about the issue but I'm not sure if my concern is worthy of their time. I looked at my CAA directory and they list Robert Ousterhout as the contact. Just feel a little intimidated about writing a petty e-mail. Should I just wait it out? Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Perhaps you've already tried this, but did you look under the "History of Art" (technically the name of the department)? If so, and it's still not there, I would just contact their graduate admissions coordinator: http://www.sas.upenn.edu/arthistory/content/contact. Good luck!

I am applying and if you look at the page with the online application you will see that it still lists dates for the 2012 Application cycle. I have a feeling that the 2013 application opens on October first.

Is this not the case?

The graduate application page says "The cycle for Fall 2012 is now open. Please visit the website below to begin your application. If you started an application before October 1st, you must begin a new one. Data entered in the 2011 cycle cannot be carried over to 2012."

So I'm thinking wait until October 1st.

The app site now says the Fall 2013 cycle will open on Oct. 1.

Has anyone tried to access the Fall 2013 application today? It still won't let me select art history, or next fall. Is my computer screwy or is anyone else having this issue?

I tried again yesterday and it worked. When you first log in it says it's the application for Fall 2012, but you can select all the programs and Fall 2013 as your intended start.

I did started the application too, it worked fine..
