kiki123 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 (edited) I am graduating with my undergraduate degree in December and will be applying soon to graduate schools for my MSW for Fall 2013. Will my graduating early hinder or help me or be irrelevant when applying to grad schools? Edited September 27, 2012 by kiki123
ImmunoXX Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I would guess that it would not make a difference when you graduated. Try to fill that time with something prouductive if you can. Are the programs you are applying to only offered for fall enrollment? Some MS's programs also have spring......
kiki123 Posted September 28, 2012 Author Posted September 28, 2012 Yeah, all of the programs that I'm applying to only have fall enrollment.
iowaguy Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Shouldn't make a difference, just say what you'll be doing in the meantime to make you an even stronger candidate for admission (taking classes to shore up your weaknesses, working in the field on a research project for Professor X, traveling to Europe to get some perspective on your thesis topic, etc). They just don't want to hear that you're going to spend the next 8 months as a beach bum
