I am graduating with my undergraduate degree in December and will be applying soon to graduate schools for my MSW for Fall 2013. Will my graduating early hinder or help me or be irrelevant when applying to grad schools?

I would guess that it would not make a difference when you graduated. Try to fill that time with something prouductive if you can. Are the programs you are applying to only offered for fall enrollment? Some MS's programs also have spring......

Shouldn't make a difference, just say what you'll be doing in the meantime to make you an even stronger candidate for admission (taking classes to shore up your weaknesses, working in the field on a research project for Professor X, traveling to Europe to get some perspective on your thesis topic, etc). They just don't want to hear that you're going to spend the next 8 months as a beach bum :)
