choco80 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Hello everyone - has anyone heard in any way from Harvard's Social Policy and Government program (accept/reject/interview, etc.)? I believe I saw on the results page that one person received an acceptance, however I haven't heard much more said about this program. If they have notified everyone they're going to take, I wonder how long they'll wait before sending out the rest of the notifications (I'd rather rip off the band aid quickly instead of slowly!). Thanks, and good luck to everyone!
ejuliast Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I talked to a contact I have there and was told that I'd been rejected...but I don't know if that means that they're all done with acceptances or not. Oh, and I had applied to the Social Policy & Sociology program.
choco80 Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 I am sorry to hear that - it looks like you have been accepted to many great places though, which is fantastic - good luck making the hard decision!
choco80 Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 By the way, when did you hear from this prof about the decision (the past week, etc.)? Thanks.
choco80 Posted March 9, 2009 Author Posted March 9, 2009 I still haven't heard anything, and I'm surprised because it looks like last year's rejections went out earlier - looks like everything was pushed back a bit this year?
choco80 Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 Hi guys - just to update, I heard yesterday via postal mail and was rejected (I already posted this to Results). Good luck to everyone!
