Guest Chiper91 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Hello everyone. I am currently an undergraduate in my junior year. My overall GPA is 3.94 but this semester is going very bad for me. I am probably going to have two Bs in my two major elective courses (I am not slacking, they are just hard). Apart from those grades I might get a couple of As but not in my major courses. I want to apply for a master's program either in the U.S or Europe. If this semester kills my GPA, would I still be able to get into any grad school? I know this thread is really annoying but it is really important for me. I would appreciate any comments.
Guest Gnome Chomsky Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 You're going to face classes in grad school that are "just hard" too. I would just stick with it. Obviously you're not perfect. Don't pretend to be. Nothing wrong with a 3.8.
juilletmercredi Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Bs? *scoffs* I had one semester in college with an F and two Ws, all in my major field of study. I had a 3.4 GPA and I got into a PhD program, top 10 in my field. You will be absolutely fine with a few Bs and a 3.8. kairos 1
