How many schools will you visit before April 15th?

This is hard to answer while I'm still waiting to hear from 3! So far I'm definitely visiting one, trying to get time off work to visit a second, and would visit two more if accepted before April (fingers crossed).

I've got two visits scheduled - one this weekend and one in a couple weeks. I'm still waiting to hear from two schools, but I think I'd only want to visit one of them if I got in. That's the only local school I applied to, so visiting wouldn't be difficult.

just one for me. Though the networking opportunity is good, taking time off from work for more than one visit would be a p.i.t.a.

But if you're in school (ug/grad) it might not be such a hassle, so visit as many as you can

I'm visiting 4 schools. There are two schools where I have not been accepted or invited to visit, but one of those schools is VERY close to both my house and my college, so if I do get accepted (currently waitlisted at Cornell...) I can visit easily.

Visiting University of Arizona this weekend! I can't wait! They're taking us to the outdoor museum on Sunday...

There are lots of stories on the boards about visits changing people's minds about programs. Knowing about the programs I don't end up going to will give me more perspective on wherever I do end up, and will help me feel I've made an informed decision. And aside from that, I look forward to getting to chat with a lot of people doing interesting work in my field and getting to know some people I'll see at conferences later on!
