I'm looking into liberal studies programs for Fall 2013 b/c I have interdisciplinary interests and also as a way to strengthen a future PhD application. I want to be in a scholarly environment and I want to study in New York City. I'm exploring the the CUNY Graduate Center's MA program in Liberal Studies and also the NYU Draper Program.

The Graduate Center's program allows me to take at least six of the ten courses within their doctoral programs; the structure of the Draper program is unclear. CUNY offers tracks in American Studies, Women's studies, the Psychology of Work and Family, and these are all areas that match my interests. Also, CUNY's program is affordable. If anyone can provide feedback to me about these programs and other interdisciplinary that I should be considering in NYC, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!
