gcook Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I'm completing my BSc with a major in biology, but am applying to some graduate programs in anthropology/archaeology departments. One of my LOR is from my biology honours supervisor, and I am torn who to ask for the other academic LOR. Do I ask another bio prof, who I've had a class with, and who's lab I work in as an assistant, OR do I ask an anth prof who I've had classes with twice??? Not all of the programs I am applying to are in the anthropology department, some are biology... Thoughts? Will it hurt my chances to apply to anthropology programs with 2 biology recommendations?
Bearcat1 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 You're probably going to need three letters, so I'd go with both bio profs and the anthro prof with whom you've taken two classes.
