I am quite new to this system and am also applying to the Integrated program at Columbia. Do you think that's it with interviews or they'll be sending some more out?

They did not indicate any other interview dates in the email. They said if I can't make the interview weekend I will have to arrange an appointment during the week, Monday through Thursday. They probably don't want people trying to switch interview dates.

Michigan PIBS Bioinfo (Not sure of the dates yet) came down Tuesday and UCLA Bioinfo (Feb 6-8) came literally 25 minutes ago for me!

Very cool, those are the two I got so far as well. The Michigan dates are 1/24-26 and 1/31-2/2.

Congrats everyone!

@biotechstudent:  Did you send your subject GRE scores to Columbia?  I know you were worried about those...

So I wasn't planning on sending my scores, but I had already requested them to be sent before my scores were posted. The send out date for the scores was 12/21 on the website so I figured I could just cancel if I didn't want them to see my scores. It turns out they sent out my scores on 12/8, before I got to see my scores! I don't know if Columbia received them before making their decisions, which is making me really paranoid about the other schools now! :(

I know UCSF Tetrad has already sent out interview invites. Does anyone know if they send out everything at once or do they send out a few rounds of invites?

I agree. I am equally as anxious. I sent in my application on December 13th, since the admissions committee saw my nearly finished app and highly encouraged me to finish it. I hope that was a good sign. But I know they would need more than 7 days to give me a response...

Guys I am also waiting for the Princeton MB.

Did you happen to list additional departments on your Princeton application? I know I put Mol Bio as my main choice, but I listed several other choices in Chemistry. I hope this is why there is a delay. My friend applied only to Mol Bio and got the call on Monday.

I submitted all my apps on Nov 31 or Dec 1, so the day before the deadline in some cases, or about a week or two before the deadline in others

I applied directly to the molecular biology program, not through the biology@ Princeton. If you look at last year's record, people got interview offers in late Jan too. GL

Gotcha, gotcha. I submitted very late. Right up to deadlines.

I can't speak to specific programs, but most schools will do multiple rounds of interview invites as some people will decline due to conflicts or interest. I have heard that early submission *can* be (not necessarily is, but can be) helpful as many schools starting reviewing applications ahead of the deadline. I got my Michigan invite  before the grad committee had finished their first meeting (so says the professor who called) and I submitted my app about a month early. I also know of cases where superstars get full acceptances before the deadlines even are reached.

Are you sure it's this friday? Do they send out the offers in one wave?

I checked the results board for 2012 and 2011 stats, and Sloan-Kettering always sent their invites on the friday before the week of Christmas. Which means they should be sending them out tomorrow. Yikes.
