Be careful about those emails if your status has not changed.  I know of more than one instance (one at UT) that an email was sent out, status didn't change, after a few days student emailed coordinator to find out that the wrong student received the email.  Always question your status if it doesn't change.

I got accepted last week. First I was emailed by my POI with a funding letter. For about 2 days my status didnt change. Within the next 3 days I received an email saying to check my status as well as a congratulatory email from the department. Once I received these emails I logged back in and my status had finally changed to 'Admitted'.
