Excluding a Recommendation - Does it Look Bad??

Hi guys,

I was going to register 3 recommenders, but the Ph.D. in Finance program I'm looking at only requires 2.

I've registered 2 so far, but am unsure of whether to change.

1) My research advisor - obviously, this one stays.

2) The executive director of the undergrad business program, a teaching prof, and my academic advisor. He's known me for four years, so he knows about my academic trajectory, but he's only taught me an intro course in business.

I was thinking about changing to a senior Professor in the math department who taught me Intro to Mathematical Finance. He's very respected in the field of mathematical finance, but he's only known me a semester.

What should I do??
