Hi guys,

So I'm torn whether to apply to Duke's Ph.D. in Econ at the Dept of Economics or to the Ph.D. Finance at Fuqua.

I'm interested in the intersection of finance and macroeconomics: how macroeconomic policies and variables influence asset prices and investor behavior.

If you could give me some advice on which to choose with focus on the following concerns, that would be great:

-Which is more flexible? (if in Econ, can I work with Fuqua profs/research resources and vice versa)?

-Which is more reputable? (just trying to be pragmatic)

Thanks!
