Selection Committees

I am dying to know ANYTHING at all about when committees meet and make decisions (not when people actually find out). Also, does anyone know how many people apply to Berkeley's medical anth program annually? I just need something to go off of. I'm going insane.

Most them will begin meeting (for my field, anyway) probably this upcoming week, or the week after.  For specific answers regarding your field, you should check the posted results from last year's application season.  You'll have a much better idea of when you can expect to hear back from your programs by checking there.

My school is in the process of review and should be sending out replies why end of the month if their history is any indication.

I was told by a potential supervisor at NYU that they would be meeting end of January, as the department is on leave until then anyway; he said not to expect to hear anything before the end of Jan.
