thefaultinourstars Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 I waived my rights to see my LOR's, but one professor emailed me his recommendation after he had submitted it anyway. It was an amazing recommendation and he happens to be an alum of this specific program to which I'm applying. The only problem is he misspelled my first name a couple of times in his recommendation. It is spelled correctly most of the time though. I'm not sure if there is anything I can do or should do at this point as the letter has already been submitted. Do you think this will severely hurt my application or lessen the value of this LOR? (My first name by the way has two common spellings Sara and Sarah)
marco_math Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Not at all. It is probably just a typo and the admissions committee will most likely see it for what it is.
