Dear all, I would like you to help me evaluate my profile and help me decide the schools I should apply to (Econ PhD):

Type of Undergrad:

BA Statistics (GPA = 3) + BS Actuarial Sciences (GPA = 3.75) – Public Spanish University

Diploma of Research Proficiency (in Actuarial Sciences) (2 years of study)

            GPA: top 5%  / Thesis on Financial Institutions

Type of Grad: MBA – Duke University (GPA = 3.5)
GRE
: V=161 Q=169 AWA = 5.5
Undergrad Math: Plenty of it (grades differ, trend is growing vividly across the time)
Grad Math: Not so much in the MBA. A+ and B+
Undergrad Econ: Some of it (B+); Econometrics : HONORS
Grad Econ: Micro / Macro  = A+ ; Econometrics = A+ Game Theory = B
Letter of recommendation:

1) Grad professor – did his Econ PhD in Chicago;

2) Diploma of Research Proficiency supervisor – Spanish University

INTERESTED in US Universities – I’d very much appreciate your viewpoint on my chances to:

  • TOP 10 / TOP 20

Thanks in advance to all of you

Also, Undergrad Math: Plenty of it (grades differ, trend is growing vividly across the time)

No one knows what "growing vividly" means. You also need to specify what type of math classes you've taken.
