BeingThere Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Roebuck1, I looked at your linkedin resume. Great work/internship experience! I never know what is okay to ask others on this forum about their work, but I'm curious if your latest studies on psychological disorder stigma in the workplace are field studies or "lab" (students on campus) studies? It sounds like a very interesting topic!

It sounds like a very interesting topic! Bren2014, This particular study was a field study conducted using an online survey. The first study I did at MSU investigated stigma management of mostly physically disabled individuals. That study was also conducted online, but only available to disabled individuals at the university. If stigma management is a topic you're interested in, I suggest you look into research by Ann Marie Ryan, Erving Goffman, Mikki Hebl, Alice Eagly, Madeliene Heilman, Rebecca Meisenbach, and Edith King (to name a few).
