Clay Made Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Anyone hear from SAIS in relation to their application materials being complete? I'm quite anxious to know! I might drop them an email tomorrow but just wondering...
waltlaa9 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Hey, yes, I received an email on 01/15 confirming receipt of all application materials.
Clay Made Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 Oh! A little worried then. Perhaps should email them tomorrow then. I am right in thinking they do inform all applicants about materials, whether completed or missing?
The Mark Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I haven't received any email from SAIS yet either. On the homepage of the MSFS application, it shows that I have transcripts missing for one of the undergrad schools I listed. But those grades are included on the degree-granting institution's transcript (CC transfer), which they have. Hopefully the same problem doesn't happen with every school.
waltlaa9 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I can't recall if SAIS notifies applicants if anything is missing, whereas some of the other schools I applied to (like Fletcher) made it clear that admissions would let you know within 10 days or so. I agree that your best bet is to go ahead and email them...SAIS has been great with answering my emails within two-three days.
The Mark Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I got an email from SAIS today saying that my application is "...complete and is currently under full consideration by the Office of Admissions." Hopefully you got the same thing. Best of luck!
Hopefulodi Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I received my confirmation email ("your application is now complete") on my secondary email, so if you added another email address while applying, check that one.
