iphi Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I met with a professor in person about a month before applications were due. She was very nice, gave me good advice, etc. We had a brief follow-up chat via email immediately afterwards. This was a few months ago, and I haven't heard back from her program yet and probably won't until March (both the school admissions website and results posted from past years confirm this). My question is this: I recently presented at a conference and had a discussion with someone that was relevant to the prof's and my common research interests (which are somewhat rare) and wanted to tell her about it. Is this bad form? Will she think I am fishing for a decision? Additional info: when we met she told me outright that she would love to take me but that my interests might be hard to get past the committee.
uromastyx Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 If you're worried then tell her about it after a decision has been reached. What's a few more weeks? LndscpDsign 1
