Lesser known PhD in business schools in the US

Hi,

 

I have applied to 7 PhD schools but little nervous about them so I would like to increase my chance by applying lesser known research schools for PhD in Marketing. 

 

BS in Business Administration: GPA: 3.08/4.0 (AACSB accredited)

MS in Marketing: GPA: 3.83/4.0 (AACSB accredited )

GRE: Q161-83%, V151-49%, AWA 4.0-49%.

More than 3 years marketting related experience.

I am also co-author at 2 paper that were published in conference proceedings. 

 

I know it is getting late, most of the schools have deadlines no later than Feb 1 but when I contact the admission departments, they usually say I could apply.

 

Any suggestions about where I can apply? Might apply to Canada and Europe as well. Any suggestion will be welcomed. It might be funny to most people but I would prefer schools near/in big cities.
