I applied there for the fall! No word yet, and of course I also hope we hear sooner. It would be nice to get a head start on finding housing

April 1! Last year's results board looks like they found out sooner so let's keep our fingers crossed. What is everyone's focus? I'm applying for East Asian art history.

My focus is interdisciplinary, but it is pretty much modern with an emphasis on film studies.

My focus is modern/contemporary.  I've noticed that my application status still hasn't changed from submitted, and it's been causing me a bit of anxiety.  Is anyone's application in review yet?

My application still says submitted as well! Hope that makes you feel better. I am having anxiety issues as well, haha. Only 20 days until April 1st though...

If you guys don't mind me asking, what are your credentials? GPA and GRE scores and such? I don't have the best GPA, but everything else is pretty good. I want to know what I am up against

Hi guys, my intended area of study is Renaissance/Baroque. My application status is also SUBMITTED, I hate that.

spursel: what about your credentials? You go first haha. You're not being very specific. In that case, my GPA is also not the best, but everything else is also pretty good.

I received an unofficial email of acceptance from a poi, and I believe they made their decisions around the 7th of this month. My application still says 'submitted' though. Best of luck! I'm ready to receive the official notice too!

I saw that someone had been accepted under the results search... congratulations! I have not been in contact with anyone at Hunter so I suppose there is still a chance that I will receive official notice eventually too! Hopefully before I lose the last shred of sanity I have left!
