Has anyone heard back from English Education @ Teachers College? They are my top choice and I'm getting antsy with nerves

Has anyone received a decision who applied to the Cognitive Studies in Education MA program? I applied for the priority deadline (Jan 5th) and still have not heard back. (Or anyone in general who applied for the priority deadline and has not heard back yet?)

In regard to TC's adcomms, does a department's admission liaison make admissions decisions or does he just deal with admissions related inquiries?

 

Also, under the financial hardships I wrote about my family's situation (dad lost job, kids in college, step mother working) but left out the effect my mother's sickness has on my family because I don't want to seem like too much of a complainer. Granted, that part of the application is precisely for that, but still. Should I ask to revise that part? For all I know it could save me money.

I know a couple of students who have done this. You have to be aggressive about finding research here and joining a lab.
