MEM 2013 Applicants

Hey everyone,

 

I know there were a few people who applied to some of the MEM programs in previous years. Are there anyone out there who's applying this year? Feel free to share your stats! I'm applying to the following programs (all MEM):

 

Stanford

Northwestern

Duke

MIT

I have applied to Duke, Cornell, Dartmouth, Stanford, and Columbia. Had an interview for Dartmouth and received good news from Cornell.

Which program did you apply to at Columbia?

The Master of Science program in Management Science and Engineering (MS&E), offered by the IEOR Department in conjunction with Columbia Business School.

Would either of you guys mind posting your stats? GPA, GRE, undergraduate major etc.

I'm thinking of applying to these programs next year and want to see what my changes might be.

i too applied to stanford, columbia , cornell, duke.

got columbia and duke admit so far. stanford reject.

I just got good news from dartmouth, yay!

@patrick92 - congrats!  I just submitted my application for dartmouth mem round 2... we'll see what happens.  i have a really low gpa.  does anyone mind roughly posting their stats?

 

I am applying to Northwestern, Dartmouth, Duke with preferences in that order.

 

I missed the deadline for Stanford, Cornell, Columbia, but I guess I can always try next year if I don't get into any of the above.  

 

Has anyone heard back from northwestern?  they do rolling admission and I have no idea when I should hope to hear back.  Did anyone apply round 2?

Seems like this is a pretty old post, but I will just add on to it.

Applying to:

MS in MS&E at Stanford through HCP

Background/Stats:

Undergrad uni: national university of singapore, mechanical engineering

Undergrad gpa - equivalent of 3.5/4

Work experience: 5 years as an aerospace engineer in the military, 2 years as an aerospace engineer in an us defense prime contractor.

GRE: V162/Q170 (havent got my official scores yet)

Graduate certificate in MS&E at Stanford.

GPA for 4 modules - 4.14/4 (2A+, 2A)

Applying for early review round (8th Oct), would get admission results by Dec 13.
