Stanford ME MS decision

Hi, I'm waiting on Stanford's decision for MS to their Mechanical Engineering Dept. I know that people have already received acceptances, but I want to know if those people applied to solely MS or with the intent to purse a PhD. 

 

Does Stanford ME department notify those who intend of completing a PhD before that notify those who only applied for the MS program?

Sounds the " MSc only" applicant will be informed later, I also applied to MSE at Stanford and haven't heard back yet. There isn't any news from EE side in the results for master applicants.

Btw could you comment on how they process " OK to refer other department" option in the application form?

I may be the bearer of bad news, BUT

1) if they have sent out acceptances and (which they have)

2) done the ADMIT day for the MS students (which they have)

 

Your chances for getting admitted are not looking good.
