MonkeyDr Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Ok, so I just got a letter in the mail saying "Congratulations! You've just been accepted to X program...You will recieve you official acceptance letter from the Graduate School soon.." I want to be happy, but someone help! I had applied for a TA position, but they didn't say anything about it in the letter. Either "yes" or "no." Is it customary to offer this in the official letter or should they have said it already?
phku Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Same thing happened to me a while ago. The school that accepted me doesn't making funding decisions or TA/RA decisions until mid to late March. This may be somewhat commont this early in the game.
RiseofthePhoenix Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Typically, your financial offer is included in the official letter. You should receive that in 1-2 weeks.
