thetableone Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Has anyone heard back from the ssrc dpdf? they said they'd be notifying in April but would ask for transcripts earlier - has anyone received a transcript request?
natimarie Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I haven't heard anything yet, and I applied to the colonialism track. Its still early, fingers crossed... Also - where did it say they would ask for transcripts early? I remember scanning unofficial copies, and I thought they said they would require official ones at some later point before the first workshop... Anyone else remember?
Curca Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Hi! I applied to Critical Human Rights and have not heard back. I understood also that they would ask for official transcripts at a later time from those actually selected as fellows. My estimate based on other years is that the critical window of notification is March 12-15 and after that if you haven't received an email, the chances of being selected drop sharply. I am cautiously hopeful. I learned a lot from the process of preparing the grant itself...and yet I would love to participate as a fellow!!
natimarie Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Is there an update on this by any chance? Thanks!
Curca Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Here is an interesting link from one of last year's fellowship winners: http://the-political-ear.com/?page_id=710
Curca Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I got notification today! I hope you have good news too to share! My field is Critical Approaches and I wish you all the best of luck.
