Statistical calibration

Hi guys,

 

I am working on a project which involves calibrating the received signal strength of different phones according to one chosen reference phone. Simply put, I have a reference array of ints and i would like to use it as ground truth for other arrays.

 

Has anyone done such thing? Could you please suggest any solutions and ideas.

 

What I'm doing now is use PDFs and try and align them accordingly.

Is your data in some sort of text file?

Do you know how to use R? Or MATLAB?

The programming aspect of this is not the issue. I am looking for something like a calibration algorithm.
Anyway, how do you think R and MATLAB might be of help.
