I've heard back from 3/6 schools, and this whole admissions process is starting to do my head in.

Academic background: undergraduate degree in Linguistics from Brandeis (3.917 GPA overall), and okay GRE scores (can't remember exact numbers, but 51st percentile for Quantitative and 95th+ percentile for Analytic Writing/Verbal).

So far I've been accepted to NYU (no scholarship, at least that they've said) and MGH (no scholarship, but an assistantship).  I was also waitlisted at BU, which confused me a little since they interviewed me.

Now I still need to hear back from Emerson, Northwestern, and Columbia.  I'm especially worried since it seems others have been hearing back from Emerson.

Any wisdom/experience? Were my results so far totally random? It seems like this admissions season is going far from how I expected!

What exactly did you expect? You seem to have some options and no rejections so far..
