Oh this should be interesting. I didn't apply for any women's studies programs but I might next year since I want to study the portrayal of women in post WWII society in the film/media.

I guess Duke Literature and Berkeley Rhetoric also make the list. And I'm adding Rochester Visual and Cultural Studies, only because I'm in there!

I would add Claremont to the list for Cultural Studies as well, a good program, though they have no freaking money.

Would anyone please explain to me what culture programs are, and visual studies? And if they relate to art history? Esp. the UofR program. Thanks!
