Okay folks, if you are going to ECU, either on campus or DE, put it up here! :-)

I am going on campus. Since I am out of field with most of my pre-reqs, I have 2 classes to take this summer (Artic dev or dis, and aural rehab). I also need to complete and turn in my 25 observation hours by July 15th. Other than that, I am all set with a place to live and everything else! I am going to visit ECU in April 12th to get acquainted with everyone. Very excited!

Anyone else going to ECU this fall?

I applied to ECU but did not get an acceptance. Have you heard of ANYBODY on a waitlist? I haven't seen any on here or my FB group I am in! Thanks.

The only program posted in the results board as of this morning seems to be the DE program. Not sure about the campus program, though they did state March 15th notifications.... Maybe they will send out the rest of the on campus program notifications today? My situation was unique because I got accepted into both programs so they couldn't exactly hold back that info once I was told about getting into the DE program; that could be why I found out but not many others have.

Edited to add, I also have not heard anyone mentioning they are in a wait list for either program, but the first wave of applicants notified have until April 15th to decide, so that may happen around mid-April, which is only my guess. Dr. Cox may be able to provide more answers if you haven't heard by next week.

Thanks for your reply! I am hoping that maybe the 'waitlist' hasn't been decided, yet. I applied to the DE program so my only option now is the waitlist. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Congrats to you and thanks again!

Wait where is the DE "results board?" I've just been waiting for an email, but is there a way I can see beforehand?

The results board is the one in grad cafe- where people post their admission results. There isn't a way to check ECU admissions status on a website as far as I know, but I could be wrong. Dr. Cox has been sending emails with the results.

Hmmpphh! I got my rejection letter back in February. I am kinda bummed because I have a 3.4 gpa, took a DE class there last fall and got a B, and have similar GRE scores as those being accepted.... what is up ?

... I'm beginning to feel like I am the only one for whom ECU is a top choice and already decided... And haven't found anyone else who says they are accepted to the on-campus program. Hopefully Dr. Cox will get our Facebook group going soon so I can meet some of my cohort. If you guys have questions about the program, don't be afraid to email her and ask, she has always been great about responding with the answers that you need!!!

If anyone is going to ECU for the fall and still needs to take a prereq like Aural Rehab, it is offered this summer and all you have to do is submit a non-degree application (another $70 fee) and tuition is only $212 per credit, not bad! I have to take artic disorders (USU) and I am opting to take neural processes at UAA even though it is not required for this years entering class, it is required for next years class, so I'm going to take it anyway. The UAA class is e-live and you actually have to show up online during class time, I think it is Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:15 but that is ALASKA time, so more like 12:30 on east coast time.

Ps, I hope to meet anyone going to the admitted students day on April 12th!!!!
