Late decisions - any source for scholarship?

I thought to write this to assure all those who are still waiting. I am thankful for all who post their results in the results page, but not all. So, if you do not see accept/reject decisions from your program it does mean anything!

 

I have just received my first acceptance (and waiting to hear from 3 other places I applied at). Unfortunately, it is not funded and I cannot bear the cost for PhD program.

 

In one of the other programs I applied for they first lost my mailed letter (the received the letter but misplaced it). I would imagine a disaster would have happened if I did not follow up to ask about my letter. Even after I followed up and showed them the track receipt for my letter, they had one of the documents in this letter misplaced and I am still trying to sort this out!!

 

I want to say do not lose hope, there are still decisions coming and some programs have not finished their decisions yet!

 

My problem now is funding. The program I heard from was really my top program and they did not offer any fund. I do not want to take  loans...What should I do while I am still waiting to hear from other programs?

 

If you are aware of any scholarship that I can apply, I will really appreciate this!
