  1. Congrats on the acceptance first! I see the choice is easy. You incline to Case and it is a good school. I think this University is under rated at many programs. The perfect fit is a top priority as it determines how your research will go. Your work will count more than the name of the school you have attended. Although I know names attract attention. WashU is a top tier school though. Good luck and let us know where you will go!!
  2. I thought to write this to assure all those who are still waiting. I am thankful for all who post their results in the results page, but not all. So, if you do not see accept/reject decisions from your program it does mean anything! I have just received my first acceptance (and waiting to hear from 3 other places I applied at). Unfortunately, it is not funded and I cannot bear the cost for PhD program. In one of the other programs I applied for they first lost my mailed letter (the received the letter but misplaced it). I would imagine a disaster would have happened if I did not follow up to ask about my letter. Even after I followed up and showed them the track receipt for my letter, they had one of the documents in this letter misplaced and I am still trying to sort this out!! I want to say do not lose hope, there are still decisions coming and some programs have not finished their decisions yet! My problem now is funding. The program I heard from was really my top program and they did not offer any fund. I do not want to take loans...What should I do while I am still waiting to hear from other programs? If you are aware of any scholarship that I can apply, I will really appreciate this! Thanks
  3. Sorry to hear about your problem and I hope you will get it sorted. One question: what CGS would make a difference for school applications?
  4. Hello guys, I have an invitation for interview and kind of nervous what are the questions they might ask me. I hope to be prepared for this. Is there something you would advice me? Sharing you experience in interviews will be much appreciated!
  5. Hello guys, The news do not give any idea about how acceptance in this program is going. I would appreciate if all can provide the following information: GRE scores: years with experience in research graduate of the US or canada/Europe/other publications No. TOEFL score (if applicable) Schools applied: interview: accepted: rejected: waiting list: If accepted let others know why do you think your application was successful?
