Response from A&M

Anyone hear back from Texas A&M after applying for a MS or PhD?  I turned in my app a little later but still on time, and am getting a little anxious about hearing back with the April 15th deadline coming up soon for other schools.

I am waiting too. Haven't heard anything. I called them last week and they say its under review.

I received an acceptance letter from them in late January (I applied in late December).  From my understanding they are taking about 14 Ph.D. students and I have spoken with others who have also been accepted.  However, they were all domestic students and the application process may be different for international applicants.

I called them two days ago.  They said they had sent out all PhD offers.  Those accepted have until April 15 to respond.  Until then, they will decide whether or not to issue more offers, but I think it is very unlikely, especially with financial support.  Quote: if you have other offer, you should better accept it.

I believe they are done making offers unless someone decides not to accept.

 

If anybody with an offer from this place decides not to go then please do turn it down as soon as you can!
