Has anyone heard back from East Tennessee State University? I have not seen anyone post anything, acceptances or rejections. It's getting late, and I would have expected to hear something by now.

I'm also anxiously awaiting decisions from this school. I called a few weeks ago and was told (by the secretary I assume) that decisions would be out the first week of April. So I'm hoping for something any day now.

I, too, was told sometime this week. I do think it is silly to wait so long to notify!

My status changed on the GoldLink website to "on Grad waiting list". I will probably call tomorrow for more information. Good luck, everyone!

My status still says referred as well. I would hope we would hear back soon.  I don't know if I should call them to ask someone, and I have been checking the mail every day expecting to hear something.

Yea...we do have two more days this week so I'm going to assume we should hear good or bad news by Friday afternoon. If not then I will surely call to check in on Monday morning.

Check your spam folder guys!!  I got an admission offer yesterday from them, and just happen to find it today!  (My status on goldlink still says "referred")

Okay so just to clarify, everyone who has been either accepted or waitlisted thus far has seen their status change on Goldlink...no one has received an actual email or letter? I haven't seen any rejection statuses yet...so yea I'm nervous

I was accepted on April 2nd, and my status still has not changed on goldlink from "referred".  I received an email from the head of the department, but it went to my spam folder.  Check your spam folder!!

Yea I wish there was something in my Junk Folder but I check that everytime I check my email. I'm just a little confused by their whole notification approach. I'm guessing if you're accepted you got an email and if you're waitlisted your status changed. If you're rejected then you'll be the last to know?

Okay sooooo I got the story on how these admissions decisions seem to be trickling out slowly. Apparently a graduate admissions person has been out so that's why they weren't all completed at the same time. She looked me up and she couldn't see anything for me so far. The hope is that by mid next week all decisions will be updated and sent out. So yea I feel a tiny bit better...

I only saw two more notices on the results board, one rejected and one waitlisted. I however, like you, am still waiting.  Ugh!

My Goldlink changed to Decision Made a few days ago, and I finally got a letter in the mail yesterday. No email, ever. So check your mailbox!

Found out I was rejected today...I'm so upset I can't even cry right now. Maybe that's because I'm still holding out on the other schools.

I too got a rejection from ETSU. It was a far away choice for me so it's not a huge deal. But they did say they had a lot of applicants this year. I wonder how many they had. I just posted it on the results page but reversed my verbal and math score

When I visited in February, one professors estimated >300 applications! My mom put it in perspective for me when she said, "So less than 10% will be accepted." I immediately decided to look for a Plan B.

To anyone accepted in the second round- how long did you have to notify the department if you are accepting or declining? I have not received a rejection yet, so assuming I'm still in the game, hanging by a thread. Just trying to gather info here instead of calling, but may do so anyway!
