Hello,

 

I recently applied to the M.A. program in sociology at TWU for Fall 2013. I personally love the fact that they invest a good deal of time in the multicultural and feminist frameworks. I actually stated in my essay for admissions that my focus was on social psychology in relation to LGBT studies (psychopathology, etc.). The other awesome aspect of TWU is the teaching and research opportunities you can get. I know that 60-70% of my career aspirations would be to teach (either 2-year or 4-year). 

 

Anyone here applied or went to TWU? How is the Ph.D. program?

Just curious, anyone else attending or will be attending either TWU or UNT's master's program in sociology? What should I expect or be cautious of?
