cryabroad Posted April 5, 2013 Share Posted April 5, 2013 Hi,I just got PhD admission from ME department at Utah U,is anyone familiar with it?This is like a perfect place for me but I don't know how to get financial aid.They said on the website that I can apply for TA position in the summer!That is too late!So does anyone has similar experience?Please tell me how to deal with this. tip3r Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 Contact the department and tell them about your situation and ask about funding opportunities. I was in a similar situation and I was able to get a TA offer even though the department wouldn't normally hand out TA appointments until the start of fall term.
