yclim Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Dear all, my wife and I have a situation on hand and we would like to seek more insights from the forum. (We are Singaporeans hence we don't have opportunities to visit the campus or attend the open houses to find out more.) My wife has been accepted into: BC (LSOE)* Vanderbilt BU I have been accepted into: HGSE* Vanderbilt BU *preferred choice The decision is really between BC or Vanderbilt. Can anyone give more insight into BC's quality of program compared to Vanderbilt's. It would be easy to recommend that both of us go to Vanderbilt. Unfortunately, I have always wanted to do Technology in Education which Vanderbilt does not offer. Whereas she is torn to go Vanderbilt (based on reputation and ranking).
Fleet23 Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) I am no expert, but I have a friend who went to BC that loved the program. Edited April 6, 2013 by samsonite2pv
woosah Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I'm a little late, but Vanderbilt has a specialization in Learning Sciences and Learning Environment Design that might suit your interests: http://peabody.vanderbilt.edu/departments/tl/graduate_programs/doctoral_programs/learning_sciences_and_learning_environment_design.php
