How long are you willing to wait?

With April 15th rapidly approaching I am hoping this process is coming to an end. I've been accepted into one program but they are currently looking for funding with no real indication of how long that might take (I also am not being held to any response deadline). I've been wait listed at two schools with one saying a decision might not be made until May which seems like ages from now! I've also heard of people getting off wait lists as late as July or the beginning of August with people who drop out last minute. 

 

So my question is how long is everyone willing to wait this process out?

May is the latest I can wait. I can't think of any other application process that takes longer than this, not even a job application.

I have a couple of job applications in, and one very likely offer.  So next Friday is probably my limit.  Although the school has said I will be hearing ASAP, since they are aware of the situation.

I already put in a deposit for another school, but I'm willing to wait and see what happens with my WL school. While I am happy with the school whose offer I accepted, I would be very happy to receive an offer from my WL school. Both schools are in the same geographical region so I could wait until summer (although let's hope I don't have to... Knock on wood!)
