phmhjh85 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Hi Kayla, happy that you decided on Hopkins. I am going too , yay!!!! Starting MPH in the summer! with a mental health Certificate, I hope. Cannot believe I will be there in 6 weeks! When are you moving there? I am really excited about the move and Baltimore but some how intimidated by how intense and fast paced the program seems. Wish you all the best . frickv 1
mpheels Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I'll be working on a PhD in Health Services Research, and I'm super excited! I'm planning to work through August 16th, then move on the 19th/20th. I just finished my IOL course today, and can't believe I have to wait three months until orientation! phmhjh85 1
Kayla123 Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 Hi Nostalgia! Sorry this is like, a month late ... had a lot to do with moving off my undergrad campus, to home, and now gearing up to move to Baltimore! I'm slightly terrified about the program haha, I'm doing the MHS so ours are similar but have a few differences. The accelerated thing is going to be really intense.

The move is pretty stressful. I feel that I sometimes forget amongst all thr preparation what I am really preparing for! Everyone keeps saying how intense most programs at JHU are but how it was the best time of their lives, so I guess that is Hopkins: slightly terrifying but quite enjoyable!
